What a beautiful day it was and what a beautiful hike! The maple leaves were various shades of green, yellow, pink, and red. The oak leaves were green or yellow. Everybody was taking photos (see mine from the link below). Even on a weekday there were many other hikers, some with dogs, some on horseback. We stopped at an overlook at the top of the hike for lunch. We were back to the van by 3:00 PM and to the center around 4:45 PM.
