Original Hike: Tablazon – Pinyon Loop
What Has Changed: Cancelled. The weather forecast for Tijeras for Thursday is 80% chance of snow with winds up to 20 mph. That coupled with snow from the previous storm would make for difficult hiking conditions.
Highlights: A lovely, mostly shaded and wind-protected walk through the woods and meadows.
Cautions: In warmer weather remember to bring enough sun protection and water. Trekking poles may be helpful to some senior hikers.

Sign up/Pay: Sign up required, call 505-767-5959. Can sign-up 13 days before scheduled hike. Must Show Current Membership Card before signing Release Form on hike day. Those without their card will be turned away. Please call the center if you need to cancel so others on the wait list can go. There are NO LONGER transportation fees.
