Ten hikers met up at BCSC at 8:15am. We left promptly at 8:30. After two hours of driving on I25 we arrived at our TH at 11. We walked to the TH of the Pyramid Rock trail at Red Rock State Park. Following the trail we were a little concerned about the storm clouds that had gathered. With thunder and small snow pellets we were weary of continuing the hike. After a few more minutes, the storm clouds disappeared and everyone decided to summit Pyramid Rock! After eating lunch and seeing the next wave of storm clouds taking aim for us, we decided that the best decision was to return to the van and head home. Everyone enjoyed the hike up Pyramid Rock which covered 4.3 miles. Thanks to Michele Worm and Carl Gervais for driving and Carl for leading.
