Original Hike: Aspen Vista to Big Tesuque Campground
What Has Changed: New meet time of 8:30 am Hiking poles recommended. Rocky in places and steep in places as well.
More Information: Lovely hike with views and streams. New meet time of 8:30.
Variation: Van driver change from Donna Abbot to Sunita Moonka
Highlights: Just below the Santa Fe Ski Basin, beautiful Aspen Views. Both a nice cardio workout at the beginning then an easy stroll down through aspens, mixed conifer and meadows to the Big Tesuque Campground
Cautions: The trail is rocky and has occasional steep descent, hiking poles may be helpful

Sign up/Pay: Signup starts 14 days before the day of the hike. Call the center at 505-767-5999 to sign up and reserve a seat. Hikes are open to all 50+ Senior Center members. If, after making a reservation, you cannot attend the hike please call and cancel so that other hikers can participate.
